Biography
Taylor Wachal is an associate in the Chicago office of Sinars Slowikowski Tomaska. She concentrates her practice on products liability defense and occupational injury claims, including asbestos litigation. Prior to joining SST, Taylor worked for a midsize law firm where she represented businesses and individuals in a variety of commercial litigation matters. She has handled civil matters at every stage and both sides of litigation, including arguing contested motions, taking and defending depositions, attending mediations and settlement conferences, defending counterclaims, and participating in bench trials. She has also briefed cases before the First District Appellate Court and the Illinois Supreme Court.
Taylor graduated from the University of Illinois' Chicago School of Law. While in law school, Taylor was a member of the Moot Court Honors Executive Board, competitor in the National Moot Court Competition, and won first place in the Dean Fred F. Herzog Moot Court Competition. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and Marketing from Loyola University Chicago.
Taylor was born and raised in the Chicagoland area and still lives in the Northwest suburbs with her husband, daughters, and two dogs. Outside of work, Taylor enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
